High Torque Electric Compact Design Actuators are available for operating Butterfly Valves. Ball Valves, Gate Valves, Plug Valves or any other device requiring rotary applications with High Torque. These Actuators have a running time of 10-35 seconds for a 90 deg. Actuation and have a Thermal Protection Torque Switch.

The RC 744 range actuators have been designed using Rapid Controls proven reliability in combination with the latest Technology. They provide a simple, cost-effective way of controlling quarter turn valves and dampers. The design meets Industry’s need for a compact and reliable actuator, it is suitable for use in many areas where an IP65 enclosure is required, Though IP68 enclosure are also available.

The RC 744 range is a single phase electric actuator which is available in two Versions, both with the IP65/ IP68 (optional) enclosure. The standard version is suitable for open/close duties where on/off Control is required( with feedback & BMS). This is achieved without the need for reversing contactors, giving simplified wiring. The designs of the motor and limit switch mechanism ensure combined ease of setting and reliability.

The 'M' version benefits from the addition of a control interface module which enables it to operate from a wide variety of control signals and provides status monitoring outputs. The ‘M’ version is suitable for Continues duties cycle, where modulating control is required.

All flange mountings are in accordance with ISO5211. If different, please specify at the time of placement of order.
